Year after year, our community steps up with commitments of money, supplies, and time to ensure that our kids are receiving the finest quality education, both secular and Judaic, in a comfortable and nurturing environment. The efforts of everyone involved cannot be overstated and prove the true love for our school and the giving spirit of those people who are touched by BYDS today and have been in years past.
The generous donations from parents, grandparents, alumni, friends of the school and the greater community have allowed us to maintain the vibrant and exceptional learning journey our school provides for all students. This strong tradition of giving allows us to continue our successful drive for excellence. Every gift, regardless of denomination, is important and appreciated as it supports the important work we do today and strengthens our legacy for tomorrow.
At BYDS, we offer a variety of Tzedakah (charitable) opportunities that meet the needs and desires of our diverse donor base. Our primary fundraising effort is the Annual Giving Fund, a campaign that bridges the gap between the full cost of educating our children and the tuition, which must be kept affordable. In addition to the Annual Giving Fund, we also hold at least one special fundraising event every year. We have initiated a Planned Giving program for generational donations. We also allow special recognition opportunities in the form of tiles, plaques, and other forms of gift signage.
