Linda Atzil, Controller
Linda is beginning her 9th year in the Business Office. Prior to joining Segal Academy, she worked at MD Anderson Cancer Center for 22 years in the departments of Internal Audit, Clinical Revenue & Reimbursement, Clinical Operations Informatics, and Institutional Compliance. Her various roles involved identifying financial and operational risks, performing audits and investigations, cost accounting, and preparing financial analyses and reports. Linda also served as a “Be Well Champ” for the hospital’s employee wellness program. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Management and Accounting from Tulane University and subsequently earned professional certifications as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE). Her three children are all BYDS graduates. “It’s a great feeling to work in a caring environment and to see all the exciting changes that have taken place since my children were here.”
