Karla Morales, Director of EDE, ASAs, and Camp
Karla has been part of the Segal Academy family since early 2017 and remained with the organization through 2020, before assuming a leadership role as an Early Childhood Director at KinderCare. In 2023, she returned to Segal Academy, bringing with her even more experience and a deep love for early childhood education. She moved to Houston with her husband, Alfredo, in December 2016. They are the proud parents of Rebecca, who began at Segal Academy as an infant and is now excitedly transitioning into the 3s program! Karla holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing and business administration and is currently working toward her Master of Arts in Education with a focus on Early Childhood Education through AJU’s School for Jewish Education and Leadership. Her background in childcare, training, management, and customer support helps her create warm, supportive experiences for both children and families. Outside of school, Karla loves spending time with her family and their sweet dog, Bucky, as well as discovering new places together.
