Ms. Jenny is beginning her seventh year at Jack Segal Academy (formerly BYDS). She was born and raised in Galveston and moved to Austin to attend The University of Texas and stayed for 13 years, with a small detour to Sydney, Australia! She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Sciences and immediately began teaching in the TWOs. She joined Segal Academy with more than 10 years of teaching experience and 5 years in Early Childhood administration here in Houston. Jenny and her husband, Brandon, also love having their son, Jake, moving up to 1st grade at Segal Academy. She can’t wait to meet all our new families, welcome back our current families, and watch your children wonder, explore and grow in our program. Jenny will begin her pursuit of a Master of Early Childhood Special Education and Inclusion this fall with American Jewish University. “I love watching children have multiple ‘ah-hah’ moments a day and being able to help facilitate their natural wonder. Segal Academy is a timeless example of that in our community.”
