End of the 2020-2021 School Year
Dear Beth Yeshurun Day School Families,
“Life throws challenges but with patience and resilience, you can convert every challenge into a new opportunity to grow.” (Amit Ray)
The 2020-2021 school year is one none of us will forget. I could not be prouder leading this community as we navigated this challenging year together. Our whole community has had to learn the definition of resiliency in a way none of us could have ever imagined. It was with this resiliency that we grew as a community and BYDS is stronger than ever. While we may not have been able to share in some of our favorite experiences together this year, we adapted and provided not only our outstanding BYDS academic program to our students, but a year full of memorable and engaging activities.
Thank you to our faculty and staff for going above and beyond this year to make sure all our students had continuity in their education and daily lives. You are appreciated by all of us more than words can express!
Thank you to our medical advisory committee and Nurse Mia for providing guidance to our school and community so that we could safely teach our students on campus.
Thank you to all our BYDS families for trusting us with your children and keeping our community safe and thriving.
To the 5th Grade Graduating Class:
Mazel Tov on your achievements! You have done excellently in a new learning environment and showing leadership during this unusual year. I know each one of you is prepared for the road ahead, and I cannot wait to see what the future holds for you. Do not forget to come back and visit! BYDS will always be your home!
L’Shalom,
Jennifer LeVine
